View from the house
Bedroom (with en-suite) at Toribari
Toribari (mustard field) is a purpose built lodge to accommodate visitors to Palpa.
In the village of Sarai, 320 kms from Kathmandu, Toribari offers comfortable
rooms, choice of European or Nepali food, extensive garden (we grow pineapple, banana, mango, papaya)
visits to local schools, friends' houses, and an insight into the local culture. The views are spectacular and become increasingly so if a trek of several days into the remote areas of Palpa
is taken. See Photo Gallery
We camp on these excursions and eat with the people wherever we stay. You can be assured of a warm welcome
mixed with curiosity as westerners seldom penetrate these places.

Guests Teacher and pupil
We, at Ravi Tours, also offer packages for anyone wanting to do some volunteer work in Palpa.
We are able to set up teaching programmes in schools, work with the Red Cross and other organisations,
all of whom are delighted to welcome westerners and will make time tables flexible to allow for trekking and
participation in other activities.
