Ravi Tours Treks Trekking in Nepal is often a dream come true for participants. To make this a memorable experience we offer a complete professional service for small group treks and also accept any group size to the following trekking routes/areas: - Annapurna Annapurna/Machhapuchhare Langtang/Ganja La/Gosainkund Langtang Everest Gokyo Lakes Beni/ Tamghas Lower Dolpo Kangchenjunga Naranthan/Shivapuri Lumbini Chitwan National Park These treks range in length from 3 days to 25 days and we can put together an individual itinerary to fit in with particular interests and to accommodate specific dates. Both Ravi and Jackie have personally trekked these areas and are both qualified to lead interesting treks full of cultural, geographical and botanical information
Lower Dolpo Tengpoche Everest Trekking in Palpa is also very rewarding, the cultural life of the Magar people can be absorbed (you can become a part of the community), visits to remote villages untouched by tourism with the Himalayan range constantly in view can be less strenuous and avoid the difficulties of Acute Mountain Sickness. A warm welcome is assured and on these treks we camp but take meals with local people. Trekking terrain in Palpa Welcome to our home School children Sample trek using Toribari as a base: -
Day 1 – welcome to Toribari and explore Sarai village Day 2 – trek through farmland up to Oles village - superb views of the Himalaya from here (3 hours) take lunch – trek on to highest hill in Palpa (1800m) for night’s camp and barbeque supper Day 3 – trek along ridge to Aarkhala village where we have established a safe drinking water system (3 hours) – meals taken in the village Day 4 – trek down hill to valley where rice is grown, meet friends, visit farms and school – become acquainted with Magar life (see photo above) Day 5 – return trek to Sarai (4 hours)
We take local boys/friends as porters on these treks and where we can on all our treks. For them it is a chance to see their own country and to improve their English – they all want to come!
